Last year, Western Montana Lighting had the incredible privilege of designing the lighting for the star that graced the top of the National Christmas Tree at the Capitol in Washington, D.C.

In a nod to Montana’s mining-rich history, the original star that topped the tree was the first National Tree star to be made of copper. The Montana state flower, the bitterroot, provided inspiration for the design at the center. The four-foot by five-foot star is now on permanent display in Butte.

To commemorate this honor, we’ve partnered with Split Mountain Metals to create a replica star topper so that you can show your Montana pride! Made from copper and expertly designed, it embodies the spirit of Montana and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that put our state in the national spotlight last Christmas.
